Neuromuscular ultrasound evaluates tendons, ligaments, muscles, cartilage, bursae, nerves, and vessels that are invisible on plain X-ray. It can diagnose tendon and ligament damage from degeneration or overuse, as well as joint effusion and soft tissue tumors. Ultrasound is not only harmless to the body but also a great aid to precise treatment.
